Welcome to the Hunter Industrial Virtual Showroom. We'd love to help you upgrade your space with one of our commercial or industrial fans.
Our 16-Foot HVLS Fan Lineup
Two performance tiers. Same 16-foot diameter. Choose the one that fits your coverage needs and budget.
Titan 16'
Hunter Industrial's flagship model scaled up to 16 feet. A single 16' Titan HVLS Fan covers 10,000 sq. ft. and is built around the same Direct Drive Motor and patented structural-grade steel blade holder that makes the Titan the go-to choice for demanding industrial environments. The adjustable downrod telescopes from 2 to 10 feet, giving you flexibility to position the fan at exactly the right height for your space. AMCA Certified. Limited Lifetime Warranty.
ECO 16'
A single 16' ECO HVLS Fan with aerospace-engineered blades and a Direct Drive Motor can cover 6,400 sq. ft., with the same 2–10 ft adjustable downrod as the Titan at a lighter hanging weight and a more accessible price point. A strong fit for facilities that need reliable, even airflow across a sizable space without the premium spec of the flagship. AMCA Certified. Limited Lifetime Warranty included.
16-Foot HVLS Fan Specs at a Glance
Both models run at nearly identical speeds. The primary decision point here is coverage area and hanging weight relative to your structural capacity.
| Series | Max Affected Area | Max Speed | Hanging Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titan 16' | 10,000 sq. ft. | 95 RPM | 175 lbs |
| Eco 16' | 6,400 sq. ft. | 94 RPM | 135 lbs |
Note: Max affected area assumes standard ceiling height and unobstructed floor plan. Consult our team for complex layouts or multi-zone coverage needs.
The Growing Facility Specialist
A 16-foot fan addresses a specific challenge: you have more space than a smaller fan can efficiently cover, but a layout with standard ceiling heights, moderate structural capacity, and a mix of open floor and working zones doesn't call for the largest fans in the lineup. Here's where the 16-foot models consistently perform.
Mid-Size Warehouses & Distribution Centers
Standard warehouse bays and loading areas are exactly the kind of space the 16-foot lineup was built for. The Titan's 10,000 sq. ft. coverage handles a full bay in a single fan, pushing a steady column of air down to floor level where your team is working. In facilities with multiple zones, such as receiving, storage, and staging, a planned arrangement of 16-foot fans gives you consistent coverage across the whole floor without the complexity of a large-fan installation.
Manufacturing Plants
Temperature consistency on a production floor isn't just a comfort issue. Stratified air means cold floors and hot ceilings, which translates to higher heating costs in winter and uncomfortable working conditions year-round. A 16-foot HVLS fan destratifies that air column, pulling the heat back down and evening out the temperature from floor to ceiling. The result is a more comfortable workspace and a HVAC system that doesn't have to work as hard.
Large Retail & Showrooms
Customer comfort is a retention tool. A 16-foot HVLS fan keeps air moving evenly through a large showroom floor without the noise or draft of high-speed units. Shoppers and sales staff get a comfortable environment, and you get the energy efficiency of a single large fan doing the work of many smaller ones. The Direct Drive Motor runs quietly enough that it simply disappears into the background.
Sizing & Installation Pro Tips
At 16 feet, you're moving into territory where layout planning pays off, especially in facilities with multiple coverage zones or a mix of open floor and active work areas.
- Start with your problem zones: Map out the areas in your facility where heat builds, air stagnates, or workers are least comfortable. Those spots drive your fan placement.
- Ceiling height: Hunter Industrial's 16-foot fans perform reliably from as low as 10 feet to as high as 50 feet above the floor, covering the full range of ceiling heights common in warehouse, manufacturing, and retail environments.
- Mounting height: Both the Titan and ECO 16' use Hunter Industrial's patented adjustable downrod, which telescopes from 2 to 10 feet. This gives you meaningful flexibility to position the fan at the optimal height for your ceiling conditions without requiring a custom order.
- Fan spacing (multi-fan installations): Follow Hunter Industrial's recommended spacing guidelines for 16-foot models.
- Account for obstructions: Racking, overhead lighting, support beams, and machinery all affect how airflow travels across your floor. Position fans to minimize interference, and consider your layout in 3D, not just from above.
- Structural mounting: Both 16-foot models mount to standard I-beam, Glulam, Unistrut, or purlin structure. Confirm structural load capacity with your engineer before installation, particularly in older facilities where load ratings may not be immediately apparent.
- Seasonal operation: Push air downward in summer to maximize the perceived cooling effect at floor level. Reverse direction in winter to recirculate the warm air that collects near the ceiling and drive it back down to where your team is working (a process called destratification).
Pro tip: Not sure whether one 16-foot fan covers your space or whether you'd be better served by two smaller HVLS fans? Your installation is based on actual square footage and ceiling height. For more complex layouts, our airflow team is available to review your floor plan directly. With Precision Installation Services, we can take care of your fan installation so you can focus on what matters most.
Maintenance & Longevity
Hunter Industrial's 16-foot fans are engineered for the kind of environments where downtime is expensive and maintenance windows are short. The Direct Drive Motor design eliminates the components like: belts, gearboxes, and lubrication schedules.
